1/1/2009:Coventry new year five: Krissie is hoping to start the new year with a pb with this two lap 5 miler around warwick university campus.
Morpeth 11K: A guarenteed PB to start the year and a way to check speed before the "Not The" plus running with a gorgeous woman this is a win win win race for Mike Jarman
Hangover 5: Helen is wondering if this one is going to live up to it's name after the previous nights celebrations, but is guaranteed a PB in her first 5 miler. Wendi and Brigitte are giving it a go too...on Wendi's recommendation be it!

Worcester Winter Aquathlon: Krissie is inching closer to the world of triathlon with this 400m swim and 5k run and is anticipating that running in a wet cossie in the middle of winter won't be the wisest of decisions she's ever made

Goring & Woodcote District 10K: Pete and Zo Stockdale limber up for the Not The Roman with a rural 10K near Oxford.

Derby Midweek 5k: Pricey and Pete hoping to get 2009 off to a good start
18/1/2009:
Not the Roman IX: David Robertson at NTRIX for a 3rd time, theres only 1 hill...... from start to finish with a little dip at half way. First time here for Andy Downs & Ian b so definitely a personal best. Mike Jarman looking to defend his handicap win is trying to loose weight fast! 1/3 of UKNR members competing in the club Grand Prix event - expect a sea of White, Red & Blue and a plethora of PBs!

Benidorm Half: 3rd go at this little spanish number for the 2 amigos Wendi and Brigitte. Ole! Mark is joining the continentals.
